11. Instant Messenger

BLOCS makes messaging the Club administrator publicly in a group chat or about a specific booking easy.

Appointment related messages keep the chat grouped by booked appointments and are directly to the business which you are a member of, whereas group messages are shared with all other members of the club and the business administrator.

Message to Business – Communicate as a group to all current members and business. Future blocks published directly to the group by the business can be booked with a single click, without leaving messenger screen.

Direct Message – Direct, instant messaging to Business administrator for support, appointment request or advice (normal business hours apply)

Group By Appointments – Communicates directly with business admin regarding upcoming appointment, use to discuss a specific booking. List is in ascending date order.

Message Area – Record of past group communication. Use message entry and send button to publish a message.

To send a message to all members and business:

  1. Login to your account at www.salonblocs.com/app
  2. Navigate to “Messages” on the top tool bar.
  3. Using text field at the bottom of the page, type your message.
  4. Click “Send” to deliver your message to the group.

To discuss an appointment with the business simply:

  1. Login to your account at www.salonblocs.com/app
  2. Navigate to “Messages” on the top tool bar.
  3. Choose the app’ you would like to discuss on the left side bar.
  4. Type your message in the message field and click “SEND”

Please note that until subscribed, members can only message the business directly.
